Obviously Halloween is a great time to buy costumes, but keep in mind that kids love to play dress up and costumes can be worn all year round. Make sure you buy it large enough for them to enjoy for a while. When you select a costume take in to consideration what the temperature is like in your area. A heavy plush outfit is great for colder climates, but in more tropical areas it would be hot to wear. There are lots of children that don't like anything on their head or face.
